Atsushi Sugimoto
Atsushi, born and raised in Japan, has always been fascinated by the North. He started wildlife photography at the age of 20 and traveled to northern places such as Alaska, Svalbard and Yukon to capture northern wildlife, landscapes and lifestyles. Atsushi moved to Whitehorse, Yukon, in 2011 and won, in 2019, the grand prize of First Light Image Festival Photo Contest.
