Biography - Chris Ritchie.jpeg

Chris Ritchie

For 30 years, Chris managed fish and wildlife with the Government of British Columbia, working on species at risk recovery, wildlife viewing policy and mountain pine beetle impact mitigation. This includes 18 years of direct caribou management experience including directing the Mountain Caribou Recovery Implementation Program and Provincial Caribou Recovery Program. Work by Chris and his team involved extensive engaging and liaison with First Nations, resource extraction industries, the recreation sector, ENGOs and the general public. Chris looks forward to seeing more uptake by government and interest parties for delivery of a caribou conservation breeding program.
