GIVING TO CONSERVE
“Forming bonds with indigenous peoples and wildlife organizations as well as spreading awareness to the general public is the most effective method of making change for wildlife. Through working with the Caribou Conservation Breeding Foundation, we intend to bridge this gap and raise awareness for caribou“
— Kai Willis, Codirector, Giving to Conserve Endangered Species
+ Who we are
Giving to Conserve Endangered Species is a business focused on the conservation of some of the most endangered animals in the world! We produce high-quality handmade products with ethically sourced materials and donate 10% of the proceeds from each purchase to organizations at the forefront of wildlife conservation. Our primary aim is to assist with the conservation of animals through fundraising, but we also educate about the challenges endangered species face and on how to help.
Giving to Conserve was founded in 2020 by two passionate and experienced conservationists who wanted to provide the general public with the opportunity to directly support the work of wildlife conservation organizations.

+ Why caribou recovery matters and why we support caribou conservation breeding
Caribou are not only an iconic and much-loved species, they are essential to the health of the ecosystem they live in. Having adapted to some of the harshest habitats, they play a vital role in shaping the environment and the lives of many indigenous people. A keystone species, they impact the movement of many predators and ungulates within their range.
There is no better time than now to focus on caribou and use all available recovery tools, including conservation breeding, to support their recovery. Caribou must be saved as the impact of their loss on biodiversity and traditional ways of life would be disastrous.
