Jeff Mitchell

Jeff is a passionate advocate for zoos and conservation. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Calumet College of St Joseph and has a graduate certificate in non-profit management. Over his 30+ year career, he has worked at the John G Shedd Aquarium, Brookfield Zoo-Chicago, Cincinnati Zoo, Henson Robinson Zoo, and the Saskatoon Zoo.  In his current position as director of Saskatoon Zoo, he has overseen award winning construction projects as well as started multiple conservation projects within the zoo.  Jeff loves to educate and inspire others through making connections to animals and their habitats. Jeff is excited to share his passion through the Caribou Conservation Alliance.
